Why do we like this?
A little rock 'n' roll never hurt anyone, right? Particularly if it's an awesome cover of "Pale Blue Eyes," a The Velvet Underground original.
The song first appeared on the band's self-titled 1969 album The Velvet Underground, composed by Lou Reed while under the spell of his girlfriend Shelly's pale blue eyes. While it appears that The Kills actually might have recorded this back in 2010, they are re-releasing it as the B-side to their single "The Last Goodbye." Must say, it's quite a good way to start the morning.
