Why do we like this?
The Joy Formidable certainly made a splash with their 2011 debut album The Big Roar. Two songs in particular lead the pack: "Austere" and "Whirring." Only one of them have graced our website.
What gives, you ask? Not quite sure, but I'm here to remedy it.
"Whirring" was actually first released as a single back in 2009, on the band's debut EP A Balloon Called Moaning. It had a good bit of success, so they decided that when their full album was released in 2011, it'd be one of the leading singles.
Apart from that, I don't have much more to give you. So sit back, and enjoy!
