Why do we like this?
Here's another that I quite liked from the Black Butter Records Spread the Love Vol.3 compilation.
It's a grimy garage house remix of The Get Along Gang's track "Slow Down" by DVWLX & Smudge Lippy. It's both deep and heavily focused on those drippy bass sounds Black Butter artists are known for.
Both artists are UK based and both have music on the way, slated for release via Black Butter. I've no idea what the original "Slow Down" sounds like, or if it even exists. And I know even less about The Get Along Gang, who either like to remain obscure or it's just some sneaky pseudonym by another, more well-known DJ who doesn't have to time to make such things more searchable "” who knows. What I do know is that this remix still exists as something blippy, lippy and drippy to listen to. What's more, it's free for download. Enjoy!
