Why do we like this?
God, this song caught my attention instantly. Not just because the lyrics are French, but because it sounds JUST like Bright Eyes (except for the language thing, of course).
For Bright Eyes fans, the song I can't help but compare this to is "First Day Of My Life," which happens to be one of the oldest YouTube videos on the internet.
Anyway, back to The Coconut Kids. They're French, right? Wrong.
The band actually hail from Adelaide, Australia, though their members are a bit more multi-cultural than that (with cameos from Belgium and Ireland). They've got a few tracks up their sleeves, though this one -- uploaded only 19 hours ago, and sung about the Paris attacks -- is a clear standout.
