Husband-and-wife duo Tennis are set to follow up their debut album Cape Dory with a new album to be released sometime early in 2012. The coolest part of it is undoubtedly that it is being produced by Patrick Carney, best known as the drummer for The Black Keys.
In the interim, they've just released this peach of a cover, which puts their surf-pop spin on The Zombies' "Tell Her No," a classic released all the way back in 1965. According to the band, this track has been a long-time favorite of theirs, and "is the best use of a lone-clap we've ever heard." Not entirely sure what a lone-clap is, but I like it.
