Why do we like this?

U.K. based Ted Jasper pays homage to classic sounds like Buena Vista Social Club with his new track "The Drum" that does not skimp on the percussive elements. The quote in the track mentions that "the drum is the most important instrument," and as Ted didn't miss a beat in that department, the rest of the track delivers with soul-satisfying melodies.

Growing up listening to music in the same lane as this, along with some jazz fusion, this track teleported me back to a time much simpler. Wow, I miss Napster. If you dig this, be sure to check out Ted Jasper's new BURIED EP on SoundCloud.
