Why do we like this?

Happy Sunday, everyone! There's brand new Tame Impala!

A few hours ago the band announced their new album Currents via Facebook. Shortly thereafter, they released a second track titled "Cause I'm A Man."

Whereas the first single ("Let It Happen") was a rambunctious indie rock adventure, "Cause I'm A Man" sees the Australian band take a more-tripped-out psychedelic approach to music-making (with hints of funk included). It's not what I expected, but it's still so, so awesome.

No word on when the album will be released, but they've included this link for general Tame Impala goodness. (Stream via Side One Track One).
