Why do we like this?
Are we allowed to share two tracks from the same series? Well, we don't give a damn if we can't. This track is jaw-droppingly good. Gorgeous stuff from Australian producer Ta-ku, from a series that deserves tons of coverage.
This short, 2-minute beat comes off of his Nujabes tribute series. We recently covered "Night 1," but were compelled to share "Night 6," too. Ta-ku dropped a Jon Brion sample into the mix, and everything changed. We love Eternal Sunshine, and these little repetitive piano notes tug the strings of our hearts. It's cinematic beatmaking at its best.
