I'm on the East Coast this week, where the humidity hangs in the air and makes every breeze feel like heaven. And even though it's hot hot hot here, the clouds roll in from time to time and thunder growls in the distance. I've always loved the tropical nature of summer storms (they're oddly comforting, in my opinion) but we don't get that kind of rain very often in San Francisco. Tonight's Sunday Night Chill is a collection of tracks that make me think of sitting out on a porch reading while the rain pitter-patters at my feet. It might seem cliche, but that's what summer's all about, right? Image credit: Meghana Khandekar
