Back when I was in college, one of my favorite things to do was scour the web for iTunes visualizers. You know, those silly programs that made designs on your computer screen, moving and changing along with the music. While they might not have served any actual purpose, I spent many an evening staring at my computer screen as I watched color and shapes change to some of my favorite songs. It was like the perfect meeting place of music, art, and technology.
While many have forgotten about the iTunes visualizer, the art is still alive today, with programmers taking visualizers to the next level.
