Why do we like this?

This song caught my attention pretty quickly when it popped up in my SubmitHub feed. It's just so incredibly original...

Styles In Black hails from a place called the "City of Trees." I actually have no clue where that is -- perhaps a guess is Santa Cruz? At the very least, I tend to associate this style of music with that region. Maybe he's in Colorado, though.

Bottom line: I dig it. It's rich, layered, and sounds like nothing I've heard before.
