Why do we like this?
While I might not have a normal "9-5" job, I still manage to make Sundays a bit more relaxing. Perhaps it's because no one else is online sending emails; or maybe just the fact that...it's Sunday!
As I sit in a London coffee shop, Teen Daze's recent remix of "In Enemies" has absolutely hit the spot. The original essence of the song, set to be released by Canadian indie rockers Still Life Still on their upcoming album Mourning Trance, was one of upbeat indie pop and infectious energy. Playing the two side-by-side, you'd have never thought they were based on the original song.
But hey, that's what Teen Daze is good at. His long history of remixes have tackled the full gamut of original genres, each with a consistent outcome: beautiful, harmonic chillwave music.
