SNOWMINE is back! Are you as excited as I am? This time they've released a video for their single, "Silver Sieve," and it's a simplistic, vintage-esque animated journey into a mystical world of a knight and a centaur.
This single has a genre-bending style of sorts. From orchestral to indie rock to slightly psychedelic to even mathematical, it melds sounds together in a tasteful and engaging way. As the video carries on, there's a jousting dual between man and centaur, and, at the same time, the music sounds as though it's waging a similar dual. It sort of sounds as if there's an appealing tug of war going on between instruments, taking turns weaving their way through the track.
"Silver Sieve" is mind-bending, gorgeous and even a slight bit dark which is just how I like it. Don't miss SNOWMINE on their SXSW journey and beyond!
