A few weeks ago I posted about SNOWMINE's new single, "Curfews" here. Today, I'm suggesting that you watch their acoustic version of this single, which takes place in Philadelphia's historic Rotunda building. Everything about this video is gorgeous.
This delightful, somber video is simple yet so strong. The simplicity is the large cathedral with a lone bench in the middle occupied by the five band members. That is basically all the video contains; the strengths are the vocals and what comes out of each acoustic instrument to form an intimate and ambient rendition of an already intriguingly hypnotizing track.
If you haven't gotten on the SNOWMINE bandwagon yet then may I suggest that this be the time? They've got mass appeal and talent to boot. So watch the video and zone out for a bit. I think you'll enjoy it. And the acoustics! Oh the acoustics!!
