Why do we like this?

I don't know much about Smalltown DJ's (or Neon Steve) except that they're a duo from Edmonton that sound a bit like Adventure Club.

Though to be honest, I don't listen to that many DJs, so maybe that's like saying "this rock band sounds kinda like that other rock band." I do listen to a lot of Shad, though. Shad is like Canada's answer to Childish Gambino and Lupe Fiasco, however he's usually framed with a little more old school hip-hop production.

This track feels totally fresh while also being a throwback, and offers up a completely different palate for Shad to do his thing with. I dig.
