Sébastien Tellier Russian Attractions (Crimes! Remix)

Sebastian Tellier is a French pop singer who looks like Jesus, if the big guy were to shop on 5th Ave in New York City, New York. The Frechman's music ranges from loungy listening to dance pop. He's obsessed with the concept of God and has a decorated discography. Tellier's last and best studio album, Sexuality, was produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo of Daft Punk. His most recent work is titled My God Is Blue.

Tellier's pop-synth music has been remixed by A-trak, Aeroplane, and Arpanet, to name a few. So, when I saw Chris Crimes! Escobar released a remix of the Frenchman's "Russian Attractions" off My God Is Blue, honestly, I looked over it but ultimately clicked the link because of his name.

You know that initial feeling when experiencing an artist for the first time, that stroke of skepticism that transforms into an uncontrollable whimsical head bob as the song progresses? Yeah, well, within seconds Crimes! turned my dubiety into bliss with a heavy bass intro, Tesslier-inspired pop-synths, and ambient strings that are strategically placed throughout the song.

Crimes!'s forthcoming album, Shift, will feature remixes, and as he claims on his Facebook, "Some filth shit."
