Why do we like this?

I may have just put a tad bit of pressure on San Mei last time round with my expectations of big things to come in 2014, but like a seasoned professional, Emily has delivered another keeper with "Wars."

Six months on from her debut single "Brighter," you can definitely tell how much more refined her production has become. It is quite the melancholic track, but Emily's silky vocals perfectly compliment the gloomy backdrop.

The melodies are still as lovely as ever, so there's no doubt that this is going to be a key feature of San Mei's music for years to come.
