I've been sleeping on Chicago for a minute. The Windy City has been churning out top talent for decades -- most recently rap acts like Vic Mensa and Chance the Rapper. With so many quality acts bubbling to the surface, I haven't done by due diligence of digging to those that are bubbling, waiting to blow.
After a little bit of research, I stumbled upon Saba, a 20-year old rapper from Chicago's Westside. Saba dropped his mixtape, ComfortZone, over the summer and "Burnout" is the biggest song on the tape. Why am I reviving a song from last year? Simply put, Burnout is a combination of the best parts of Vic, Chance, and even Ye.
