When I told my friends I was moving to Cape Town at the start of October, they unanimously told me that I *had* to come to Rocking The Daisies, a music festival held an hour out of town. And they got their way: in a few hours I'll be headed there! So, what is Rocking The Daisies, and most importantly, who's playing? In short, it's one of South Africa's coolest music festivals -- something similar to Coachella. The majority of attendees setup camp for the weekend, and fun can be had both inside and outside the event. This year is packed with an amazing lineup, but I'd have to say I'm most excited to see Alt-J. There'll also be performances by Indie Shuffle favorites The Plastics, as well as The Hives, The Dirty Skirts and Boys Noize. Full lineup here, with an amazing playlist below.
