Why do we like this?
Sneaky Barsuk Records, uploading a new Ra Ra Riot track without any accompanying press blast. Fortunately one of our fans flagged this track to us, and I couldn't resist featuring it as today's Song of the Day.
If you're familiar with Ra Ra Riot, this song might strike you as being slightly downtempo. Whereas the band have forged a name for upbeat indie pop, "When I Dream" is a reflective, slow-paced track that's certainly appropriate for dreaming. Perhaps that's because they've lost their cellist?
