Enigmatic producer Ouros, taking a page from the playbook of atmospheric, slow-burning, synth heavy electronica, comes forth with a new remix of Prinze George's "Speed Demon."
Whereas the original tune kept things minimal and tight, Ouros flips "Speed Demon" into a pulsating, 80's electro jam which paints a landscape with glowing neon and modular sensitivity. And at a time where much of the electronic music we listen to is about clean lines and precision, it's comforting to know that there are more producers who embrace the thick, hazy warmth like Tangerine Dream, Com Truise, and the like.
With a tone that's epic, overflowing with feels, and reaching into the recesses of our imagination, Ouros' remix of "Speed Demon" is a late night drive with the windows down waiting to happen.
