Why do we like this?

1.7M plays in roughly a month? Clearly Porter Robinson's onto something with "Sad Machine."

The song takes a slightly melancholic approach to EDM, infusing Walley-esque vocals over slow-building synth work. Particularly notable is the beautiful breakdown around the half-way mark, which features what sounds like the flute from Legend of Zelda.
