My favorite thing about festivals at the runty Union Park in Chicago is being able to easily bounce from the alternating Red Stage and Green Stage that face each other, and how I can always grab some shade under the trees at the Blue Stage.
Between the trendy college kids and aging hipsters trying to regain their youth, we fell somewhere in the middle, carousing from stage to stage. These are the things that we saw:
