"Happy" is a tune that has created some seriously diverging opinions. You love it or you hate it. To those of you in the 'hate' category, how do you feel about Keith Sweat?
FortBowie has offered an irresistable alternative, fusing the instrumental of Sweat's 1988 R&B classic "Make It Last Forever" with Pharrell's silvery vocals. The claps have been axed, making for a track so smooth you can't help but feel this was the way nature intended it.
However, don't be fooled -- this isn't indicative of FortBowie's style. He sings, writes, raps, produces and DJs; he really is the jack of all trades. Summed up perfectly by Erica O. Famojure in his biography, "dismissing the fine-tuned, yet ever evoloving artistry of ForteBowie to simply classify him as "just another rapper" from the south side of Atlanta would be flagrantly innacurate and naive at the very least."
I couldn't agree more. To hear more of ForteBowie's diverse sound head to his SoundCloud page.
