Why do we like this?

Today marks the premiere of RAEKO's third remix to date, this one of Phantogram's "Fall In Love."

Who is RAEKO, you ask? Well, he's actually pretty established in the music world, performing under the name Polaris At Noon, and more recently as part of the trio Sir Sly. Basically, he's got experience, and that experience shines through on this remix.

RAEKO brings a distinctly modern feel to "Fall In Love," mixing frantic synth work with an undulating chorus -- all culminating in something that walks a line between house, dubstep and trap.

It's not exactly the type of tune you'd expect to hear out of Sir Sly's camp, and I think it's for that specific reason that I'm digging it.
