Well well, Kodaline covering Paul McCartney? If this isn't a treat, I'm not sure what is!
"Coming Up" was released way back in 1980 as part of Paul's second solo album, McCartney II. The original version had a minimized feel to it, allowing Paul McCartney to re-release a live version of the track that "had a much fuller sound."
Flash forward almost 25 years, and today we're graced with Kodaline's fun rendition of the classic. Why, you might ask? To celebrate Record Store Day, of course! (In case you're wondering when that is, it's April 19th).
If you're digging this and find yourself in either Japan or Australia, be sure to catch the band on their upcoming tour. And for those of you in the UK, the band has about 4 gigs lined up in the next few months.
