The concepts of the mind are theoretically infinite, right? We could come up with and think about anything....absolutely anything, even a pink armadillo fighting Dylan's dismembered hand dressed in a ballgown (it's the hand that's in a ballgown by the way, not the armadillo - that would just be silly.) And yet, most songs are about one concept and one concept alone: love.
French-artist, Pasta Grows on Trees, a.k.a. Simon, follows suit as he introspects about love on his latest track, "Encore merdé." When speaking to him about it, he shared the following: 'It is about realizing that, in some relationships, we are alone in love.'
Well, I don't think I'm going to be alone in loving "Encore merdé," with the swaying guitar as the track opens, followed by beautifully smooth French vocals.
When asked what he'd like listeners to take away from the track it was a simple and direct answer: 'to accept melancholy as it comes.'
