Why do we like this?

What a fantastic way to start the day! Passion Pit have just released the first single "Take A Walk" off their upcoming album Gossamer. And, to my great joy, this is an absolutely amazing song.

Passion Pit can sometimes push to the verge of "annoying," but with this song they've excluded the key cause: high-pitched, whiney falsetto. It's nowhere to be heard! In its place is simple, catchy indie pop that borders on the Foster The People approach. Now I'm quite curious to hear the rest of the album!
