Why do we like this?

The last time we covered Caged Animals on our website was way back in 2011 for their song "All The Beautiful Things In The World." To this day, when it pops up in my playlists I enjoy the shit out of it.

Now -- almost 3 years later -- it's about high time we add a new song of theirs to our archives. And fortunately for us, they've delivered.

"Heart-Shaped Box" was released by Nirvana way back in 1993, as part of the album In Utero. Its relevancy today is clear: this last weekend marked the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death.

Props to Caged Animals: this cover rocked my socks off.
