Why do we like this?

Here's a smooth new tune that made its way to my ears via SubmitHub.

California native J. Roosevelt teamed up with singer-songwriter Nick Shattuck to blend their talents together.

Finding each other during Shattuck's acoustic set in a L.A. hotel, the duo have created a song with Flume-inspired beats and Shattuck's soulful sound. While the song takes a minute to build (literally), the result is quite nice.
