Run The Jewels 3 appears to be closer than ever. El-P and Killer Mike's third collaborative album is on track for a 2016 release, almost two years after the widely acclaimed Run The Jewels 2. Mike and El-P have both been teasing the anticipated project for a while, but the first concrete information arrived via Twitter earlier today:

El-P shared a taste of a piece of audio from the project on his Instagram, which sounds as lyrically potent and aggressive as it's predecessors:

Whenever the album does come, it's sure to be one of the more engaging rap projects of the year, so keep your eyes and ears open for more Run The Jewels soon.
