The world may never know why Paul McCartney, Beck, and Foo Fighters Drummer Taylor Hawkins even wanted to attend Tyga's Grammy afterparty, but TMZ obtained some truly bizarre video footage of the group trying to do just that. Unfortunately for the party animals, security at the Argyle Hollywood stopped them at the door not once, but twice.
McCartney can be heard joking, "How VIP do we gotta get? We need another hit!" See the footage for yourself below:
TMZ caught up with Tyga and Bow Wow as they left, informing them of the security gaffe. Tyga played it cool, while Bow Wow was more eager to comment on the situation. "THE Paul McCartney came to Argyle?" he asked, "And they would not let Paul McCartney in? You have to be lying. There's no way." Watch the exchange below:
While Paul may have to wait to brush elbows with a Kardashian, it appears he had better luck at the Republic Records afterparty, celebrating music's biggest night with winners Taylor Swift and The Weeknd.
