English electronic rock outfit Modestep has finally reached my ears from across the pond. With only one track in Indie Shuffle's database (a cover), I am surprised not to be hearing more of them.
Coming fresh off a massive appearance at Reading festival in England, the guys played in front of tens of thousands of people and created quite a frenzy. Click here to see what I mean.
Shortly after hearing of Modestep and their Reading performance, I was tipped that they were playing in San Francisco and had to see what they were all about. While the crowd was nowhere near what I was hoping for (or deserved), these guys put on quite the show. With melodic runs to heavy drops of rock and dubstep, the experience was unlike any other.
