Why do we like this?

Stumbled across Metoux the other day after a recommendation from a friend, and just had to share.

With only 3 tracks available online, "Neighbour" stood out as an instant favorite, followed closely by most recent SoundCloud upload "Tyrone."

Urban, grimy production creates a rather dark crackling soundscape, while string melodies and bird sounds contort under her slightly raspy, soulful vocal.

Backed by tastemaker Parisian label Kitsune, I hope she is close to releasing more music.
