Why do we like this?

New York’s Melanie Martinez may only be 20 years old, but she’s already made some bubbly tracks that have been catching a handful of attention. Her single “Soap” was a sweet ballad with some R&B sensibilities and crooning pop elements.

As sweet as the original was, though, Los Angeles duo Gladiator decided to make the track a late-night burner on this remix. They made the bubbly effects more prominent while adding some electrifying break beats to amplify the experience, allowing the listener to dance all night -- even if it’s at home alone.
