Why do we like this?
There's been quite a few west coast bass artists making their way onto my playlists lately. The Bay Area has been known for the popularization of hyphy music, but I imagine the new generation will recognize the massive contribution to dubstep and glitch that these artists provide.
Siren's new remix of "Dissolved Girl" by Massive Attack carries on the tradition of the west coast sound with plenty of bass and distortion to keep you groovin'.
It's not an easy task to remix a song from Massive Attack's critically acclaimed 1998 release, but Siren makes great use of the vocals to add his own personal touch to the track.
Enjoy!
