Why do we like this?

I hated this song when I first heard it. And I mean hated. It's very over the top. I think Bruno Mars is a carbon copy of a Michael Jackson xerox. For one of the most memorable lines of the song, Mark Ronson and co. rip off Trinidad James of all people. 

Still, it's hard to deny facts. The song is catchy, like, measles catchy. Well, the music gods have shown mercy on a young cynic, because the saxophone master, Sly 5thave, repurposed the song as one of his top notch pop covers via his Club Casa Chamber Orchestra. 

If you hate happiness like me, you need not suffer through another Bruno Mars wail, but can still enjoy the undeniable groove of "Uptown Funk" thanks to Sly.
