Today we're premiering a new track from a new project, "Trust" by Lost Coast. I can guarantee we'll be seeing good things coming from this one.
I honestly don't usually this kind of rhythm, but the swift, spacey beat is immediately hypnotic.
The atmosphere builds one layer at a time, so organically that it feels intentionally sneaky. The beat spreads out, filling any remaining noiseless crevasses. The deep vocal loop adds a retro vibe to the dancefloor-ready track, as the engaging rhythm continues to toy with volume and density. And just when you think it's reached its peak, there's a drop at 3:35. Hyperdrive.
Of "Trust," Lost Coast says: "I set out to make a song that works on a dance floor and also carries some emotional weight. I wanted the track to reflect the tension between pleasure and pain. It has a lot of the elements that to me make up what Lost Coast is about: a driving groove; a strong melody; and powerful, sometimes eery synth lines."
