Why do we like this?
I think Little May is pretty much Australia's favorite folk darling at the moment, and it's pretty great to see their sound being so well received all over the world. The Sydney based three-piece is made up of Liz Drummond, Hannah Field, and Annie Hamilton, and these ladies have got the indie folk genre down pat.
While all their songs are pretty noteworthy, I'd have to pick "Hide" as my ultimate favorite for the feathered, textured drums, dynamic builds, and layered guitar parts which so delicately co-exist with each other.
Their second single, "Hide," was released in 2013 and is part of their self titled Little May EP, which is well worth a listen.
