Why do we like this?
A Lana Del Rey mashup? Clearly this isn't the first of its kind. The songstress' simple song structure lends itself perfectly to a myriad of interpretations, many of which end up fusing hip-hop into the mix.
But adding a slick jazz riff? That's a bit of a new one...
RAEKO (a member of Sir Sly) has done his fair share of remixes and even some originals, but to my knowledge this is the first mashup to come from his camp. And boy oh boy does the quality show.
In case you're curious, the song samples Lana's "High By The Beach," Artifacts' 1997 "Art Of Facts" and Hoagy Carmichael's "Stardust."
