I wrote about La Mar a few weeks ago, after their feature on YesYou's single "Through Your Eyes." Thankfully, they didn't make us wait too long for a new single from their camp!
"Still Wild" is an ever-so-smooth syncopated gem, and the second single from their forthcoming EP of the same name. Their signature use of soulful vocals married with ambient production and dynamic beats never fail to impress, and like a good wine, they are definitely getting better with age (or in this case, every release).
Building on their recorded success with a glimmering live show, La Mar most recently played alongside Vallis Alps, Aston Shuffle and Tora, and have since enlisted the help of Mickey Kojack on keys to expand the act from a duo to a trio.
