Kloyd — the alias of Yorkshire-raised now London-based electronic artist — and Bristol-based producer and vocalist, t l k, have banded together on the opening track from the upcoming Høurglass EP by Kloyd titled "Eye of it All."
Speaking to the track Kloyd explains:
"Eye of it All is about being present in the moment and connecting with our surroundings - even though life is really tough at times, we must make the most of what we have and keep going. A bittersweet encouragement to any listener".
I thought I'd start this blog post with the background and intention of the song because that, for me, is what stood out and shook my reality a bit. It amazed me how the intention behind an action or a product can propel it forward and embed and translate over to the final result.
"Eye of it All" met my present moment upon listening and reminded me of my awareness, it allowed me to zoom out a bit and remember that we can take any turn in life, as long as we've got open eyes to truly take in the destination.
I sit here, in this temperate evening air, as the birds make their final calls goodnight and the buzz of cars dies down, writing away into some corner of the internet. And though I may not understand what it is that we're all a part of, thanks to this beautiful song, I at least have some sense of "The Eye of it All."
