I think you'll recognize this song, but will you recognize the name of the artist?
The man behind this Dave Brubeck cover is of course King Tubby, who is, in my opinion at least, criminally under-recognized. I'd consider his album Declaration of Dub a must-have in any record collection. Yet unless you're a fairly serious melophile, you're unlikely to even recognize the name!
I don't know why there's such a lack of recognition, but "Take Five" and take your chance to get into one of the best artists you never heard!
