It's been a very interesting 24 hours for Kanye West. Between the successful launch of Yeezy Season 3 and premiering his latest release, The Life Of Pablo, West has found himself in hot water, once again proving his misogynistic tendencies with lyrics aimed at Taylor Swift from the track "Famous."
As well as all this he's also announced TLOP will included seven additional tracks and has re-ignited G.O.O.D. Fridays with "30 HOURS," probably the best release I've heard from him his year.
The beat alone is off the charts, with West sampling Arthur Russell's "Answer Me" as he depicts a 30 hour journey to meet an unknown woman, most likely Sumeke Rainey, who he dated for seven years before breaking up in 2004.
Controversies aside, this is another amazing track from West and my anticipation for TLOP is now higher than ever.
