Why do we like this?

"Maybe Next Year" is the second single from Brighton garage rockers Johnny Kills. Much less chaotic than first release, "Take It Easy," this new track finds the quartet channeling 90s grunge and rock.

The distorted vocals and cooing harmonies go hand-in-hand with the indie guitar riffs and rhythmic drumming, showcasing another side to the band.

Speaking on the track, this is what Johnny Kills had to say about "Maybe Next Year."

"Maybe Next Year" is about when you get into that introspective zone and start analysing yourself that little bit too much, leading to you questioning if you're normal like everyone else."
