Why do we like this?

It seems like everything that Jesse Myles has been through in his life has brought him to this brand new point in his musical career.  He's the son of two musicians, grew up in the jazz-tinged atmosphere of New Orleans, and finds hip-hop as a means for expressing himself -- Myles is primed and ready to release his brand new mixtape, Positive Feedback.  He takes a new approach to a craft that has seen its fair share of repetitiveness, a craft that's desperate for artists to just be real and share what's really going on in their lives.

"What You See" is serving as his manifesto to the world that he's ready to take hip-hop to a new place.  With a simple EDM-inspired synth line playing out over beat, Myles goes to work sharing his hope and dreams.  Instead of dreaming about hip-hop providing Dom Perignon and Bentleys though, Myles would be much more content "just making a meal of it."

This is a man who knows who where he's come from and who he's  become  and is ready to share it through his rhymes with the world.  Keep an eye out for Positive Feedback to be dropping soon, and in the meantime check out this accompanying video.
