Why do we like this?
Back in September, fellow Shuffler Zach brought you "Rolling Stone," a track from hip-hop up-and-comer Jesse Myles. Well, Jesse is back with a brand new self-produced track, titled "Alone."
While his debut mixtape, Positive Feedback, still hasn't come out, "Alone" is yet another reason for us to wait patiently for something that will definitely be worth it. Featuring a bit of a darker vibe and some eerie sounding synths, Myles goes on about the life of a rapper through a slight auto-tune. His verse gets deep and honest as he opens himself up and shares what really goes inside your head when you get everything that you thought you wanted.
I guess at the end of the day we all have to look in the mirror, and hopefully we're happy with what we see. You can get into Jesse Myles' head for free with a download of "Alone" here.
