Why do we like this?

I first came across Jean Deaux on Glass Animals' "Woozy" back in 2013. I remember being absolutely smitten with her rhyming style, and couldn't even begin to imagine how many times I replayed that track.

But then, more music kept piling up in my brain and I forgot about her. I've only rediscovered her, and when I did, my heart nearly broke.

In the description for the beautifully honest "Open Letter", Deaux writes: 

1 year ago today I failed at a suicide attempt. I'm still here. This is my open letter, I'm only getting better...
