Why do we like this?
Jame N. Commons' original single "Lead Me Home" is a beautiful and brooding acoustic track, rich with bluesy sound that would certainly fit well on the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. It's minimal elements certainly lend themselves well to a remix, and this post happens to be about one of them.
Unknown recently garnered some attention single "I Cry," but it's this minimal remix that's catching my attention. With it, he has created a sound that no doubt illicits comparisons to Nicolas Jaar or John Talabot -- a dark and stormy journey four minute track that seems like the perfect accompaniment to a late-night drive down an unlit gravel road; dust kicking up in the headlights.
