Why do we like this?

This is giving me Jamie XX's "Gosh" vibes.

Hear me out for a second: life, it feels like an endless march. We're breathed into it and on it goes until it ends — this forward march of time. Relentless. If there are ups, we go on, if there are downs, we go on.

This song brings that to life for me. I see a sea of people, marching upwards along a giant spiral. Though we each struggle, face individual hurdles, the truth is, we are side by side. Though we take each step ourselves, there are others alongside us doing the same.

The emotive feel to "Roots" brings this to mind and heart for me and perhaps this little reminder can inspire the same in you as we march on together. Have a lovely weekend whoever you are reading this.
